In today’s modern
world, we are very dependent on the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing
industry makes most of the objects that we use every day including our cars,
which are made by car manufacturers, and even our kitchen appliances, which are
also made by manufacturers. There is ferocious competition throughout the
manufacturing industry and as such, every manufacturing company must have a
good manufacturing logo design.
A manufacturing logo
design can be one of three types: a symbol logo design, a text logo design or a
symbol-text logo design. The symbols that are most often used in manufacturing
logo designs are circles, gear imagery or that of tools. Globes are also
commonly used in manufacturing logo designs. Globes are often used because they
relay the idea of trading, global exchange and worldwide business.
If
a manufacturing company does not want to use a symbol in its logo design, then
it may choose to simply use its company’s name in its logo design. These text
logo designs usually have the company’s name written in large capital letters.
The company may choose to use a classic, formal font if they want to portray
themselves as a conservative manufacturing company with a long history. In
contrast, a more modern manufacturing company may find a sans-serif font to be
more fitting. Finally, other manufacturing companies choose to use both a
symbol and text in their manufacturing logo design. Regardless of whether a
manufacturing company decides to use a symbol logo design, a text logo design
or a combination logo design, it is important that the final logo design
maintain artistic balance. If a logo design is not balanced, one part of a logo
design will stick out more than any other and distract your customers from the
overall image of your company.
